Our Kitchen Design Process

The kitchen has become the most important room in the home, the hub of family life. Designing a new kitchen in Melbourne involves more than simply choosing from samples in a brochure or a showroom, it needs to take into account the existing décor in the home and the unique requirements of your household. At DNA Bathrooms & Kitchens we believe in a consultative process which results in a room that reflects each customer’s personal style and taste. To this end our Melbourne kitchen design process starts with an in-home consultation, so we can get an innate feeling for the space we will be working on, and plan in context with the rest of the home. Within a few days we will provide a detailed written proposal, and follow this up with a telephone call to discuss any queries that arise from the quote.

Once you have decided on us to design your Melbourne kitchen, we will visit the home once again for a design consultation. Renowned as a centre of smart design and innovation, the city offers a plethora of products for your new kitchen. We will work through all the options with you so you can choose the most suitable tapware, tiles and appliances for your design, and at this stage we will also present and explain the building contract. From this point onwards, with the plan agreed and products chosen, DNA Bathrooms & Kitchens will look after all the remaining aspects of your Melbourne kitchen design. We will order all the products and arrange for them to be delivered at the appropriate time, in line with the requirements of the various tradespeople involved. We appoint a project manager for each job who is available to answer any questions you have and will advise you of progress at each stage until completion of your new kitchen.
